HIGH SCHOOL SCREENINGS PROGRAM 2014 - REGISTRATION

For the 7th year, COLCOA High School screenings will take place from Tuesday April 22 to Friday April 25, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Directors Guild of America theater complex, during the 18th COLCOA Film Festival, “A Week of French Film Premieres in Hollywood” (www.colcoa.org).

Film presented this year will be West Coast Premiere of TURNING TIDE written by Jean Cottin, Pierre Marcel, Christophe Offenstein, Frédéric Petitjean, directed by Christophe Offenstein, and starring François Cluzet. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.  The film will be suitable for American audiences, and will be appropriate for youth, ages 15 and older. However, please be advised that there is some coarse dialogues in the film which reflects the language of sailors.

For teachers who wish to bring their students to a film more suitable to advanced high school film students, they will be able to register to one of our two master classes open to high school students aged 17 and over only.

ADMISSION TO SCREENINGS IS FREE and open to all high school teachers and their students in Southern California.

Reservation is required. Please reserve now at school@colcoa.org Mention the day you wish to attend, the name of the school and how many students plan to attend with you. For the Master Class program, RSVP at masterclass@colcoa.org.
