FREE SCREENINGS

 

As COLCOA continues to grow, there are many opportunities to attend screenings for free in 2015.

(No reservation is needed for free screenings. No ticket is delivered. Admission is on a first come, first served basis. Please proceed directly to the lines to enter the theaters)

 

COLCOA TELEVISION COMPETITION  (New in 2015!)

(Tuesday April 21 to Sunday April 26 – Melville Theater)

Be part of the new COLCOA television competition: Six of the seven films selected will be shown several times from Tuesday to Sunday. All screenings will be free with no reservation.

The competition will close on Monday night with the International premiere of White Soldier. This closing screening will require ticket.

 

 

COLCOA CLOSING DAY  (New in 2015!)

(Tuesday April 28 – All day – Renoir and Truffaut Theaters)

Come and celebrate the end of COLCOA 2015 with a special program of six reruns including award-winning films.  These films will be announced the day before on site in the DGA lobby, on colcoa.org, on Facebook, Twitter and on the COLCOA info line: (310) 289 5346.

  

COLCOA CLASSICS SERIES (New in 2015!)

(From Tuesday, April 21 to Saturday, April 26 – Truffaut & Renoir Theaters)

For the first time since 2008, the COLCOA Classics screenings will be free until Saturday. Tickets are required for COLCOA Classics on  Monday April 27.

 

COLCOA SHORT FILM COMPETITION 

(Sunday April 26 – 11:15 am and 4:15 pm - Truffaut Theater)

Attend one of the most exciting parts of the COLCOA program. Discover this exclusive selection of 20 new French shorts presented in two parts on Sunday and vote for the 2015 COLCOA Audience Short Award.

 

BLIND DATE WITH A FRENCH FILM

(Tuesday April 21 - 
5:30 pm - Renoir Theatre)

Let French Cinema surprise you with this unique experience: A "Blind Date" with an exclusive new film at COLCOA. The film will not be announced before the screening starts.

MORNING RERUNS

(From Wednesday April 22 to Monday April 27 – Truffaut Theater)

Start your day at COLCOA with the rerun of a film shown earlier during the week. A continental breakfast will be served Wednesday through Friday at 10:15 am in the COLCOA lounge for people attending the screening.

 

New in 2015! The program will continue until Monday April 27.

 

The film shown will be announced at 10:00 pm the evening before the screening, on site in the DGA lobby, on colcoa.org, on Facebook, Twitter and on the COLCOA info line: (310) 289 5346.

 

EVERYDAY INVITATIONS

During COLCOA, limited invitations will be available for some screenings. The screenings will be announced on Facebook and Twitter one or two days beforehand.
