The ever-affable, ever-bumbling Philippe Rebbot stars as Jean, the captain of a bateau-mouche tour boat, with a tendency toward tippling, who’s going through a seriously bad patch! Struggling to make ends meet, evicted from his apartment, then laid-off from his job, Jean risks losing joint custody of his three beloved children. Then he meets Victor, a similarly hapless, itinerant musician… and the unlikely duo joins forces in an attempt to stay afloat.
Edouard Deluc began his career writing and directing short films and music videos. His short, ¿Donde está Kim Basinger? (2009), won the Grand Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival and was nominated for a César Award for Best Short Film. That film also starred Philippe Rebbot, as did his very popular first feature, Welcome to Argentina (COLCOA 2013). His second feature, Gauguin: Voyage to Tahiti (2017) starred Vincent Cassel. He is currently in production on his third feature, Wilderness Therapy, featuring actor Pio Marmaï and, once again, the enchanting Philippe Rebbot.
