FREE SCREENINGS
At COLCOA, there are many opportunities to see French films for free. Here is a list of complimentary screenings offered in 2016. No reservation is needed for free screenings. No ticket is delivered. Admission is on a first come, first served basis. Please proceed directly to the lines to enter the theaters.
BLIND DATE WITH A FRENCH FILM

Now a tradition and a unique experience to start the festival: A "Blind Date" with an exclusive new film at COLCOA. The film won't be announced before the screening starts...Will you be charmed?

COLCOA TELEVISION COMPETITION
(Tuesday April 19 to Monday April 25 – All day - Melville Theater)
Seven of the nine films and series in competition for the COLCOA TELEVISION Awards will be shown on loop from Tuesday April 19 to Monday April 25. (Two additional programs will close the competition on Monday April 25 in the Truffaut Theater. These closing screenings require tickets)
COLCOA CLOSING DAY
(Tuesday April 26 – All day – Renoir and Truffaut Theaters)
Competition ends on Monday April 25, but the festival continues on April 26: Enjoy a last day of free reruns. This six-film program will be announced the day before on site in the DGA lobby, on colcoa.org, on Facebook, Twitter and on the COLCOA info line: (310) 289 5346.

COLCOA SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
(Sunday April 24 – 11:00 am and 4:15 pm - Truffaut Theater)
Are you frustrated when a feature film is shown without a short at COLCOA? We know the feeling... Don't miss one of the most exciting parts of the COLCOA program with 21 new French shorts presented together on Sunday for the COLCOA Shorts Competition. Vote for the 2016 COLCOA Audience Short Film Awards.
MORNING RERUNS
(From Wednesday April 20 to Monday April 25 – Truffaut Theater)
For six days, COLCOA starts with the rerun of a film shown earlier during the week. A continental breakfast is served Wednesday through Friday at 10:15 am in the COLCOA lounge for people attending the screening. Morning Reruns are at 11:00 am (Wednesday to Friday), 9:00 am (Saturday and Sunday) and 12:00 pm (Monday April 25).
The film shown is announced at 10:00 pm the evening before the screening, on site in the DGA lobby, on colcoa.org, on Facebook, Twitter and on the COLCOA info line: (310) 289 5346.
EVERYDAY INVITATIONS
During the festival, limited invitations are available for some Premiere screenings. Screenings are announced on Facebook and Twitter one or two days beforehand. Join us and follow us!
