2016 COLCOA SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
21 new French short films competed for the 2016 COLCOA Awards. This exclusive selection of new French shorts is unique to a film festival in the United States, underlying the creativity of French production and putting new talent in the spotlight.
Each short film is shown before a feature film presentation during the COLCOA week . The competition of shorts takes place at the Directors Guild of America on Sunday, with the rerun of all films selected. (Free admission on a First Come First Served basis.) Attendance vote for the COLCOA Audience Short Film Award while a professional jury decide for the COLCOA Short Film Award.
For the second year, in May, a part of the COLCOA Short Film Program was broadcasted on TV5 Monde Cinema On Demand, a SVOD service available in select markets in the United States.
