SHORT FILM COMPETITION
16 new French short films will compete for the 2019 COLCOA Awards. This exclusive selection of French shorts underlines the creativity of French production and putting new talent in the spotlight. 50% of the films selected this year have been written and directed by women. Each film will be shown before a feature film presentation during COLCOA (September 23-28).
The competition will take place in two parts alternately every afternoon at 1 pm from Tuesday, September 24 to Friday, September 27.
- Each part will be screened twice (Free admission on a First Come First Served basis.)
- Attendees will vote for the 2019 COLCOA Short Film Award and the 2019 COLCOA Animation Short Film Award.
- You will have to see the entire program presented in two parts to be able to vote (see below).
- Every day after the competition and before evening screenings, you can attend our free Happy Hour Talk Panel program, followed by a complementary wine & cheese reception.
Part of the 2019 COLCOA Short Film Program will be broadcasted on TV5 Monde Cinema On Demand, a SVOD service now available everywhere in the United States.
